1. How to Contact Geekste

We welcome your questions, feedback, and inquiries. There are several ways to reach the Geekste editorial team:

  • Contact Form: Use our contact page for general inquiries, editorial corrections, partnership proposals, and other messages. This is the preferred method for most communications.
  • Email: You can email us directly at contact@geekste.com for inquiries that do not fit the contact form categories or for follow-up on existing conversations.

We read every message we receive. While we may not be able to respond to every inquiry individually (particularly general feedback or topic suggestions), we review all correspondence and prioritize messages that require a response.

2. Expected Response Times

We aim to respond to messages within the following timeframes:

  • Editorial Corrections: 1-2 business days. Factual errors and technical inaccuracies are treated with urgency.
  • General Inquiries: 2-3 business days.
  • Business & Partnership Inquiries: 3-5 business days.
  • Privacy & Data Requests: 3-5 business days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law.
  • Abuse Reports: 1-2 business days for urgent matters.

Response times may vary during holidays, high-volume periods, or for particularly complex inquiries. If your matter is urgent, please indicate this clearly in your message subject line. We are based in Pakistan (PKT, UTC+5) and our business days are Monday through Friday.

3. Editorial Corrections Requests

Geekste is committed to accuracy. If you identify a factual error, outdated information, broken link, or technical inaccuracy in one of our articles, we want to know about it.

How to submit a correction request:

  • Use the Contact form and select “Editorial Correction” as the subject.
  • Include the URL of the article containing the error.
  • Describe the error clearly and, if possible, provide the correct information with a supporting source or reference.
  • If you prefer to email, send your correction request to contact@geekste.com with “Correction” in the subject line.

What happens after you submit:

  • Our editorial team reviews the correction request, typically within 1-2 business days.
  • If the correction is verified, we update the article and refresh the “Updated” date.
  • For significant factual corrections, we may add a visible correction note at the bottom of the article.
  • We do not modify the original publication date when making corrections; the “Published” date always reflects when the article first appeared.

4. Privacy Requests

If you have a request related to your personal data — such as accessing, correcting, or deleting information we hold about you — please contact us at contact@geekste.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.

For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before processing privacy-related requests. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable data protection laws. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Business and Partnership Inquiries

Geekste is open to select partnership opportunities that align with our mission and serve our audience of developers, founders, and technology professionals. Types of inquiries we consider include:

  • Content syndication and republication requests
  • Sponsored content opportunities (subject to our editorial independence standards)
  • Cross-promotion and collaboration proposals
  • Industry research and survey partnerships
  • Speaking, podcast, and media inquiries

Please note: We do not accept guest posts from unknown authors, link-building requests, paid link insertions, or any arrangement that compromises editorial independence. Sponsored content, if accepted, will be clearly and prominently labeled as such. For more details on our standards, see our Editorial Policy.

6. Abuse Reports

If you encounter content on Geekste that you believe is harmful, violates applicable laws, infringes on intellectual property rights, or is otherwise abusive, please report it immediately.

How to report:

  • Email contact@geekste.com with “Abuse Report” in the subject line.
  • Include the specific URL and a clear description of the concern.
  • For copyright infringement claims, please include sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing content.

We review abuse reports promptly and take appropriate action, which may include content modification, removal, or other measures consistent with our editorial standards and legal obligations.

7. Communication Guidelines

To ensure productive communication, we ask that all correspondents:

  • Be Clear and Specific: Provide relevant context, article URLs, and specific details so we can address your inquiry efficiently.
  • Use Appropriate Channels: Select the correct contact form subject or email subject to route your message to the right person.
  • Be Respectful: We do not tolerate abusive, threatening, or harassing communications. Such messages will not receive a response and may be reported to relevant authorities if necessary.
  • Avoid Spam: Unsolicited bulk messages, promotional emails, and automated submissions are filtered and discarded. We do not respond to spam.
  • Allow Reasonable Time: We are a small team. Please allow the stated response times before following up. Duplicate messages to multiple channels may delay our response.

8. What We Do Not Respond To

While we strive to engage with our readers, there are certain types of messages we generally do not respond to:

  • Unsolicited guest post pitches from unknown authors or agencies.
  • Requests for backlinks, link exchanges, or paid link insertions.
  • SEO service solicitations.
  • Bulk press releases or product announcements not relevant to our editorial focus.
  • Messages that are abusive, threatening, or contain hate speech.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Contact Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
