Content Creation Process
Every article published on Geekste follows a structured, multi-stage editorial workflow designed for accuracy, originality, and reader value:
- Topic Selection — Topics are chosen based on practical relevance, developer questions, industry trends, and gaps in existing documentation. We prioritize topics where hands-on engineering experience adds genuine value.
- Knowledge Structuring — Each article begins with a structured knowledge brief that extracts key concepts, facts, entities, and audience needs from source material and practical experience.
- SEO & Discovery Planning — Articles are optimized for search discovery without compromising readability. We target clear, descriptive titles; structured headings; and natural keyword usage that serves readers, not algorithms.
- Long-Form Writing — Articles are drafted as comprehensive, self-contained pieces with clear explanations, practical examples, and actionable takeaways. We avoid thin content, filler, and generic summaries.
- Editorial Review & Polish — Every draft undergoes review for accuracy, clarity, readability, voice consistency, and publisher-quality standards.
- Originality Verification — We run originality checks to ensure content is not duplicating source material or previously published articles.
- Pre-Publish Quality Gate — Articles must meet minimum thresholds for word count (>1200 words), structure, SEO score (>90), originality score (>90), and readability before manual publishing.
Fact Checking
Technical claims are verified against source briefs, official documentation, vendor resources, standards bodies, and hands-on engineering experience. We do not:
- Invent statistics, study results, or market data
- Fabricate quotes or attribute statements to unnamed sources
- Generate unsupported claims for the sake of article length
- Present speculation as established fact
When external references are cited, readers will find links to authoritative sources — official documentation, academic papers, standards bodies, or vendor resources — rather than circular references or low-quality aggregator sites.
AI Usage Policy
Geekste uses AI tools as part of the content creation workflow — for structuring information, drafting content, and editorial review. However, AI is a tool in service of editorial judgment, not a replacement for it. Our policy:
- AI may be used to structure knowledge, generate drafts, and assist with editorial review.
- All AI-generated content is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human before publication.
- AI does not make final editorial decisions — human judgment governs what gets published.
- We do not use AI to auto-generate content at scale without review or to produce thin, repetitive, or low-value articles.
- We do not plagiarize or use AI to rephrase existing content without adding genuine editorial value.
Corrections Policy
We are committed to accuracy and transparency. If an error, outdated detail, or unclear explanation is identified after publication:
- Readers can report issues through our contact page.
- Corrections are reviewed promptly by the editorial team.
- When a correction is made, the article's “Updated” date is refreshed.
- Significant factual corrections may include a visible correction note on the article.
Content Updates
Technology moves fast. Published articles are periodically reviewed and updated to reflect changes in tools, frameworks, best practices, and industry understanding. The “Updated” date on each article reflects the most recent substantive revision.
Editorial Independence
Geekste maintains full editorial independence. Content decisions — what to cover, how to cover it, and what conclusions to draw — are made by the editorial team based on reader value and technical merit. We do not:
- Accept payment for editorial coverage, reviews, or recommendations
- Allow advertisers or sponsors to influence editorial content
- Publish paid guest posts without clear disclosure
- Modify or remove articles based on external pressure
If sponsored content or affiliate relationships are ever introduced, they will be clearly and prominently disclosed to readers.
Reader Feedback
We welcome reader feedback, suggestions, and correction requests. Please use the contact page and select the appropriate inquiry type. We aim to respond within 2-3 business days.
